We launched a new product!

And we wanted to share the inside scoop of how it came to be 🙌🏻

Last week we launch our second product within the emerging talent and graduate mentoring space.

And it’s called the ‘keep warm program’.

Where did this idea come from?

Earlier this year we undertook a customer listening exercise. What this means is we spoke, in depth with our current clients in the emerging talent space to really understand what was going well and where some of their frustrations were showing up.

This is a really important exercise for any business, but especially small tech and learning start up’s because what we found out was that the ideas we were thinking about developing weren’t in fact something our clients wanted or needed 😅 This saved us a tonne of time and money in creating something, just because we thought it would be a good idea.

What we did learn though, is emerging and early talent programs were having a hard time with offer reneges, keeping grads engaged post offer [sometimes the wait time to start can be up to 8 months 🤯 ] and ensuring grads are ready to integrate into corporate life from day one.

The solution

With all this info in mind we created the keep warm program as a way to bridge the soft skills gap for emerging talent, a uniquely designed program to solve two things:

  • Engagement: By getting grads involved before day one and showcasing your commitment to learning to reduce the likelihood of them reneging their offer.

  • Day one ready: Knowing all the corporate norms, building critical soft skills and their personal brand so that they can hit the ground learning the more technical side of their rotations.

We do this by offering three learning experiences that build these skills and engagement, pre day one. The learning journey covers:

1️⃣ Personal Brand

Equips graduates with the tools to authentically showcase their strengths, values, and aspirations. Our Personal Brand Session empowers them to make a lasting impression as they step into the professional world.

2️⃣ Corporate Etiquette

Polish your graduates' professional presence with our Corporate Etiquette Session. From effective communication to refined behaviour, this session ensures they navigate business interactions seamlessly, leaving a positive mark in any corporate setting.

3️⃣ Networking Panel

Propels graduates into the world of networking with our insightful Networking Panel. Through discussions with seasoned professionals, they'll gain valuable insights, build meaningful connections, and learn strategic networking approaches for career growth and opportunities.

After testing these learning experiences with our clients we believe we’ve created just the thing to fill a gap within the market.

So, if you’re currently in the process of planning your orientation for your emerging/early talent program this could be just the thing you’re looking for.
